“My recent visit to this establishment, chosen as a secondary option, revealed a consistent experience with Golden Krust restaurants I've encountered in New York City. The customer service, unfortunately, mirrored previous interactions, conveying an impression that our patronage was an inconvenience. I ordered the "Large Jerk Chicken" plate, which, in my assessment, more closely resembled baked chicken, lacking the distinct characteristics of jerk preparation. When I requested jerk sauce, I was provided with a minimal amount, insufficient for a large platter. The quality of service was unfortunately consistent with the food. I would advise against patronizing this location. The plantains, in particular, were notably rubbery and appeared to be past their prime. A superior alternative, located just a seven-minute drive from this site, is "Nice ans Knuff." This establishment consistently offers welcoming service, readily accommodates sauce requests, and expresses gratitude to its customers. My decision to visit the current location was solely due to the closure of "Nice and Knuff" on this particular day. Consequently, I will not be returning to this Golden Krust location, nor any other in the future.”
